About Hullco Exteriors

Hullco Exteriors is Chattanooga's largest home improvement company serving southeast Tennessee, northwest Georgia and western North Carolina.  Founded by Bill Hullander in 1978, Hullco first operated out of his father's grocery store in Apison, Tennessee.  The company originally sold Buck Stoves and from the beginning was focused on energy conservation.  It was around this same time TVA began a program for homeowners to help them make their homes more efficient and save on their heating and cooling cost.  Bill Hullander and his staff began building Hullco Windows in a chicken house behind the former grocery store.   

Starting off with vinyl storm windows production grew eventually to include vinyl replacement windows.  Over the last three decades Hullco has grown steadily building a strong reputation thanks to satisfied homeowners across the area.  No longer just a window company, Hullco Exteriors expanding to include everything for the exterior of the home including doors, siding, gutters and gutter protection.  By the late 90's Hullco had firmly established itself as the home improvement leader in the area.  In 1998, the company moved from Apison to its current location on East Brainerd Road just off of I-75.

Following the turn of the century after more than 25 years as President, Bill Hullander sold the operation to his son Matt.  In true Hullander family tradition, Matt Hullander had spent his summers and time after school working in the window shop gaining hands on experience.  After college Matt went to work full-time for Hullco working his way up from manufacturing to sales and later to management.  Under Matt's guidance Hullco Exteriors has expanded its marketing and advertising efforts, added additional staff and began building sunrooms and screen rooms.  

Since their humble beginnings in an old chicken house Hullco Exteriors has always sought a better engineered product with more advanced technology.  No longer manufacturing windows in Chattanooga, Hullco Exteriors has partnered with the best window manufacturer in the country.  Hullco Exteriors carries the complete line of Sunrise Windows.  Hullco Exteriors President Matt Hullander is an equity partner in Sunrise, continuing the Hullco Exteriors tradition of building and installing Chattanooga's favorite window.

Today after more than 30 years in business Hullco Exteriors is Chattanooga's largest and most well respected home improvement company.  In 2009 Qualified Remodeler Magazine recognized Hullco Exteriors as one of the “Big 50” remodeling companies in the country and the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia honored the company with the Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.  The future is bright at Hullco Exteriors with new services including room additions, porch enclosures, outdoor kitchens and bath remodels.  We look forward to hearing from you soon.
